New process for valet parking at Roswell Park

Roswell Park valet attendant gets into a silver car outside the main entrance

Valet parking will soon begin using a ticketless system, called ElimiWait, to help make the valet parking operation run efficiently, including communication with patients (or their drivers), paying for valet parking and tracking receipts easier. Here’s how it works:

When you pull into the circle in front of Roswell Park’s main entrance for a valet to park your vehicle, you’ll be asked for your mobile phone number instead of receiving a claim ticket. The valet enters your number into their device, as well as the vehicle information such as the license plate and make, model and color of the vehicle.

Then you’ll receive a text with your valet ticket number, and a link to pay for your parking with a credit card. You do NOT need to download any app or set up an account.

When you’re ready to leave, simply go to the valet concierge desk in the hospital lobby as usual to request your vehicle. Your claim ticket is on your driver’s phone! (You will still be able to pay for your parking, use cash, or a validation QR code at the concierge if you wish.)

“Being able to communicate with drivers directly is important,” says Sharon Rusert, Parking and Transportation Program Manager. “We park about 360 vehicles a day and drivers often forget to leave their key fob in the car, or perhaps the valet notices a problem with the vehicle such as a flat tire. With this tool, we can contact the driver without having to page the entire hospital with loud and frequent announcements.”

In addition to streamlining payment, the tool can also provide and track your parking receipts. Want to share your experience? You’ll get a survey to let us know how the system is working for you!
