Biography

I am a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at the Roswell Park Care Network. My combined expertise in medical technologies and hematology/oncology began with my studies in computer engineering. I laid the groundwork by joining the University of Waterloo, where I completed my Computer Engineering with Management Sciences degree in 2008. I attended the Saba University School of Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in 2014 before beginning my residency at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore/Johns Hopkins University and, thereafter, fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Post completion of my fellowship, I served as a Chair of Oncology and Vice-President of Medicine at the UPMC Chautauqua Hospital - UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.

Along with my brother, I co-host the Oncology Brothers Podcast - on a mission to disseminate information to the community and bridge the gap between academia and community oncology in this rapidly changing field of hematology and oncology. The podcast focuses on interviewing world-renowned hematologists/oncologists to present the practice-changing data, where one could apply that information in their daily practice to provide the best cancer care to their patients close to home.
