  • Treatment-related toxicities and their impact on treatment adherence and outcomes
  • Nutritional status, cachexia and supportive care interventions in GI oncology
  • Influence of age, comorbidities and functional status on cancer treatment tolerance
  • Geriatric oncology approaches to optimize outcomes for older adults with GI malignancies
  • Real-world data analyses to inform personalized cancer care

Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.

I completed my Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where I developed specialized training in gastrointestinal oncology and multidisciplinary cancer care. Prior to fellowship, I completed my Internal Medicine residency at Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital. Earlier in my career, I trained in Radiation Oncology in India, which has informed my collaborative, multimodality perspective on cancer treatment, symptom management and survivorship.
