The Elevate Salon is a specialty salon for cancer patients experiencing hair loss due to treatment. From the moment you step into our spa-like salon, you will feel the warmth and knowledge of our compassionate staff and volunteers. We invite you take time to relax as we guide you through navigating hair loss during treatment. We’re here for you every step of the way – we’ve got you covered!

Elevate salon is located on the first floor of the Clinical Sciences Center near the entrance to the Breast Oncology Center.
Hours: Monday-Friday
9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

- Wig selection support with color consultations

- Inpatient or outpatient head shave
- Hat-with-hair trim
- Pretreatment haircuts intended for hair donation organizations (patients only)
*Roswell Park is unable to accept new or gently used wigs, hats, head coverings, medical supplies or medical equipment.
Stylist appointments
Appointments with New York State-licensed stylists are available every weekday — appointments can be made by using our online Elevate Salon Appointment Request Form or by calling us at 716-845-8659.
Complimentary Wig & Head Covering Program
Thanks to generous donations to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, we are pleased to offer patients undergoing cancer treatment in the WNY area experiencing hair loss due to their treatment one complimentary wig and one complimentary head covering.
Wig options
Roswell Park is proud to carry a wide variety of wigs to best meet our patient's diverse styles, textures, lengths and color preferences. We have taken the time to research and expand our wig vendors and offerings to create an inclusive experience and make all of our patients feel welcome and taken care of.
- AMEKOR Inc. — AMEKOR offers the following three brands that our patients can choose from:
- The Vivaca A. Fox Hair Collection includes a wide variety of different wave and curl patterns, dreadlocks, natural spring curls and more. Also a beautiful collection of headband wigs with short afro, layered coil, crimp/loose water wave combo, small crimp curl, butterfly locs, tight coil, loc braid, spiral curl with versatile scarf and more!
- The Amore Mio Hair Collection includes options for our patients with styles/textures, including: AfroCurl, Yaki, loose wave, spiral curl, cork screw and more.
- The MANN Hair Collection is head covering options for our patients with visors of natural wave, short curly and short afro curly hairstyles.
- Coils to Locs — Every woman regardless of hair texture, deserves a wig that resembles the hair she lost. Coils to Locs offers curly, coily, high-quality synthetic wigs for Black and Brown women living with hair loss. Founded by entrepreneur and cancer survivor, Dianne Austen.

- Envy Wigs — specialized in grey hair! Envy Hair can also be curled and straightened; with it’s synthetic material, it may be easier for some patients to style.
- Henry Margu Collection — A privately held, family-owned company, Henry Margu is the oldest and most experienced wig manufacturer in the United States. From the creation of more manageable, natural-looking styles to improvements in lighter-weight, more comfortable wigs, Henry Margu wigs are available in fashionable styles and colors and are made with superior craftsmanship. Styles available through our complimentary program are featured on pages 4-43 in our wig catalog.
Pediatric Wigs
- Kids Wigs by Amore — These children’s lace front with lace cap wigs are light weight, comfortable, wefted and with an invisible hairline for ultimate comfort.
- Kidz Wigz by HairDo — Childhood hair loss comes with enough challenges. Finding the perfect wig shouldn’t be one of them. Kiz Wigz by HairDo offers a cute, comfortable, carefree collection of ultra-petite wigs for kids by the fashion experts at Hairdo.
Wigs are available and personalized to your style, however, inventories may not be available at the time of request. Please work with the Elevate Salon team to ensure the best wig selections are available for your preferred style. Our experienced NY state-licensed stylists are available for your personalized style consultation.
Head covering options
- Hat with hair. A ready-to-wear hair fashion alternative available in three lengths, as well as curly.
- Headband with hair. Available in chin-length hair, this style is available in many popular hair colors. Bangs can be attached if desired.
- MansaWear Hats. Our exclusive line of beanie hats are made of fine knit fabrics and are machine washable.
- Anne is a beanie cap with elastic at the nape of the neck and a 3.5” soft fall of fabric.
- Martha is a slouchy snood beanie cap, featuring a soft and shapable cap and a relaxed, roomy top.
- Darcie features two 5” tails in the back to create a beautiful and flattering look.
- Children's wigs, hats and beanies can be ordered for our pediatric patients upon request and after a consultation with our stylists.
Retail options
Once a patient has received their complimentary wig and head covering, they may choose to purchase additional wigs and head coverings, including Henry Margu’s line of 100% Remy human hair wigs. Additional items available for purchase in the Elevate Salon include wig caps, secure grip bands and stylish beanies. Wig Starter Kits are also available for purchase and include: wig shampoo, wig conditioner, wig brush, netted wig cap, bamboo wig cap, secure grip band and a wig stand.
