Biography
I am a Medical Psychologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where I provide clinical assessment and intervention services to oncology patients on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. As a medical psychologist I work directly with patients, survivors, and their families as they navigate the cancer experience from time of diagnosis, through survivorship, and at times end of life. This involves a number of processes such as building healthy coping strategies, establishing a sense of meaning and purpose, focusing on quality of life, and managing symptoms.
I received my Master of Arts in Psychology and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Medaille University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center where I discovered a passion for working with oncology patients, survivors, and their families. I am a member of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society.
