Biography

I was born in St. Louis. My maternal grandmother had thirteen children. My mother, who is 90 years old and still driving and living on her own, had seven children. My mother was a stay-at-home mom until we were all in school. She became an assistant nurse at Homer G. Phillips Hospital. I decided to pursue medicine while I was in high school. For me, medicine is not a job — it is a passion and a calling to serve.
