Michael Maher, LCSW

Hi, my name is Michael Maher. I was born in Buffalo, NY, and have lived here my entire life. During my social work career, I have worked in different agencies and have had the opportunity to meet and support many Western New Yorkers.

The experiences that have had a significant impact on how I practice social work come from working in the Erie County court system and providing co-occurring treatment in a community behavioral health setting. My focus in clinical social work has been helping patients with a range of mental health and substance use disorder needs, along with other issues related to social determinants of health.

I’m immensely grateful and eager to support and assist the Roswell Park community.
