The Department of Pediatric Oncology is seeking a full time Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Nataliya Buxbaum. The Buxbaum lab focuses on immunometabolism as it relates to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and cellular immunotherapies. Our bench-to-bedside laboratory and clinical investigations are centered on graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) with a goal of developing new imaging and therapeutic modalities for this condition (Assmann, J.C. et al. The search is primarily targeted towards scientists who are completing their PhD or have recently graduated with first author publications demonstrating their skills in any related areas of immunology, biochemistry, metabolism, and cancer biology. Candidates with a strong foundation in T cell biology, auto/alloimmunity, and immune metabolism are encouraged to apply.
