Work has officially begun on a new resource center at the Scott Bieler Amherst Center at 203 Park Club Lane. Modeled after the 11 Day Power Play Cancer Resource Center at the Roswell Park downtown location, the space will include a virtual fireplace, seating area, salon, education room, and small conference room. The center will offer educational materials, supportive classes for patients and caregivers, a quiet space to relax between appointments and more.
While work is underway, please understand that barriers in the lobby may impact seating in the waiting area, and the vending machines for food and beverages have been removed. Patients should plan to bring their own snacks and beverages until further notice. Valet services will remain available.
Once the project is completed, a new food vending area similar to the prior one will be installed.
