Symptoms of Biliary Cancers

Symptoms for both cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct) and gallbladder cancers can resemble signs of other medical conditions and some people don’t have any noticeable symptoms. If you experience any of the following symptoms, see your physician promptly to get an accurate diagnosis.

Cholangiocarcinoma symptoms

  • Jaundice, or yellowing of the skin and whites of eyes
  • Fever
  • Weakness
  • Pain in the upper abdomen or belly
  • Loss of appetite
  • Weight loss
  • Dark urine
  • Pale stools
  • Itching

Gallbladder cancer symptoms

  • Jaundice, or yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes
  • Chronic pain in the upper abdomen or belly
  • Lumps in the abdomen
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Bloating
