Based at Roswell Park and supported by the New York State Department of Health Tobacco Control Program, the NYS Smokers' Quitline has logged well over one million calls since its inception. Roswell Park Cessation Services (RPCS)
For over 60 years, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has been on the cutting edge of providing support to help people quit tobacco use. RPCS provides evidence-based, best practice telephone and web-based services for providers such as health plans, state quitlines, and employer-sponsored programs.
Roswell Park Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program
The Roswell Park Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program is intended to prepare all levels of health professionals to provide effective, evidence-based treatment for tobacco dependence across a range of intensities and populations. Our Training Program is fully accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs and is the first accredited site in New York State. Our training program curriculum is delivered in fun, creative ways to help you retain knowledge and build skills needed to interact therapeutically with tobacco users.
