The Art Heals Gallery at Roswell Park is a quiet, contemplative space where patients and caregivers can immerse themselves in art and take their minds off the stresses that sometimes arise on their journey with cancer.
Exhibits are free and open to the public during gallery hours: Monday through Thursday, from 10 am to 3 pm.
We collaborate with local and regional galleries and arts organizations to mount exhibitions throughout the year, some of which feature well-known artists.
We invite you to visit the gallery and enjoy the best of the Roswell Park art collection and works by artists from around Western New York. New exhibitions are installed quarterly.
Donations to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation support art programs at Roswell Park.

In Bloom featuring work by Cindi O'Mara and Sarah Field Sonnenberg
Cindi O’Mara’s work explores the closeness that we have with the natural world, encouraging the viewer to observe and experience. Her delicate and controlled marks pull the viewer into the intimacy of each subject, recalling moments where all was quiet and the natural world was held in your hand. O’Mara invites us to slow down, look carefully, and experience the fragile details of nature.
Sarah Field Sonnenberg’s work delves into the intricate relationship between gender, nature, and societal perceptions. She challenges viewers to question boundaries between the human form and the natural world, examining themes of youth, womanhood, beauty, and the historical objectification of women, with flowers serving as a poignant metaphor for living decorative objects.
