Cameron Duncan, MDV

Department of Supportive and Palliative Care

Biography

Currently serving as the Assistant Pastor of Anchor Church in Buffalo, NY, I am an ordained minister with The Wesleyan Church, dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and community. My journey in ministry has been deeply shaped by my passion for chaplaincy and spiritual care, which began during my Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) internship at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Supporting those who were sick and their families during this challenging time revealed a profound calling to listen with care and offer hope in moments of deep struggle. This ministry expanded during my CPE residency, and in my work as a chaplain with Catholic Health from 2022 -2024, where I continued to provide compassionate support to individuals and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy from Roberts Wesleyan University (2016) and a Master of Divinity from Northeastern Seminary (2020). Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry from Portland Seminary, I am focused on leadership and spiritual formation, with plans to complete my degree in May 2025.
