Biography

I joined Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in July 2009 as the Clinical Veterinarian in the Comparative Oncology Shared Resource. I earned my DVM degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and completed residency training in Laboratory Animal Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008.
As part of the Comparative Oncology Shared Resource (COSR), I am committed to providing high quality veterinary care for the animals housed in the resource and in providing animal use training to researchers. Additionally, my research interests include the woodchuck hepatitis virus infected woodchuck as a model of viral hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma, the VX2 carcinoma transplantable rabbit tumor model, and pre-clinical pharmacokinetic and toxicology testing in various species.
