Biography

I am drawn to gynecologic oncology because of the opportunity to care for patients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I am also passionate about the surgical care, medical complexity, and the opportunities to advocate for patients in gynecologic oncology.

I graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in Neurobiology and then spent two years as a clinical research coordinator studying neurodegenerative diseases. This experience sparked my interest in research and a desire to incorporate investigation into my future career. During medical school at the University of Massachusetts, I completed a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation and participated in a rural health track, which allowed me to further explore my interests in clinical research, health equity, and rural health. During my OB/GYN residency at UMass, I discovered my interest in gynecologic oncology and medical trainee education.

I am honored to join the Roswell Park team for my gynecologic oncology fellowship training and excited to become part of the larger Buffalo community.
