Biography

I was born and raised in a small town in northern Illinois. I found myself in New York for college at Cornell University. I went to medical school at Boston University and upon graduation moved to Buffalo for general surgery training. After a brief move away to Ann Arbor, MI, I found myself back in Buffalo for pediatric surgery training. I worked at the old Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo and then Oishei Children's Hospital for 5 years after completing my pediatric surgery training. I also worked at Buffalo General Medical Center in the Surgical ICU.

As we all know - life happens, and I decided to pursue a career shift to Palliative and Supportive Care. It has been an amazing and challenging shift and I am very honored to become part of the team here at Roswell Park!
