Following this program, participants should be able to:

Pharmacists:

  • identify various indications for novel therapeutic options in oncology.
  • describe the use and identification of administration of novel agents to ensure optimal patient safety
  • identify the role of the pharmacist in selection and use of novel treatment agents in oncology.

Physicians:

  • Understand novel treatment updates in hematology & oncology
  • Identify gaps in patient care pertaining to new treatment modalities for hematology & oncology patients
  • Apply preventative & treatment management strategies for toxicities associated with the discussed treatment modalities
