The New Era Cap Foundation Elevate Salon is a specialty salon for cancer patients experiencing hair loss due to treatment.
We invite you take time to relax as we guide you through navigating hair loss during treatment. We’re here for you every step of the way – we’ve got you covered!
Services offered
The Elevate Salon offers a variety of services to our patients who are experiencing hair loss. While we are not a full service salon, we do offer the following:
- Pretreatment haircut
- Wig selection support with color consultations
- Wig style, trim & shape
- Beard trims
- Inpatient or outpatient head shave
- Hat-with-hair trim
- Pretreatment haircuts intended for hair donation organizations (patients only)
* Roswell Park is unable to accept new or gently used wigs, hats, head coverings, medical supplies or medical equipment.

The New Era Cap Foundation Elevate Salon is located on the first floor of the Clinical Sciences Center, near the entrance to the Breast Oncology Center.
Hours: Monday-Friday
9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Esthetician services
Led by our compassionate oncology-trained esthetician, these personalized self-care sessions are a gentle, empowering, and tailored to support the changes you may experience during treatment. Services include:
- One-on-one natural brow shaping techniques to help recreate flattering eyebrows for individuals experiencing hair loss.
- Skincare tips and routines for patients in treatment to understand common changes in the skin, supportive ingredients, and what to avoid.
- Skincare classes take place in The 11 Day Power Play Cancer Resource Center

Wig options
Roswell Park is proud to offer a diverse selection of wigs to suit our patients' unique styles, textures, lengths, and color preferences. Our wide range of options ensures an inclusive experience where every patient feels welcomed, supported, and cared for.
Retail options
Once a patient has received their complimentary wig and head covering, they may choose to purchase additional wigs and head coverings. Additional items are also available for purchase in the Elevate Salon.
