Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS), Inc. provides legal services for eligible low-income cancer patients. This program is supported by funding from the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.

Am I eligible for NLS services?

You may be eligible for NLS’ legal services if:

  • You are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level
  • You are a U.S. Citizen
  • You or a loved one is a patient admitted to Roswell Park

Neighborhood Legal Services will determine if you are eligible.

  • Housing Issues
  • Utility Issues

NLS is a private, non-profit agency with offices in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Batavia. NLS provides legal services and representation to eligible low-income clients living in Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans or Wyoming Counties. NLS handles family law issues, housing issues, public benefits concerns and disability matters. If NLS is unable to represent you, NLS can nonetheless suggest other options and/or organizations that may be able to assist you.
