Courageous Caregivers Sessions

A man leads a group of caregivers in a session
Details

Courageous Caregivers is a monthly caregiver education and connection session offered in the Resource Center for individuals caring for a loved one with cancer.

This is not a support group, but an informational and reflective space focused on providing practical tools, guidance, and reassurance for caregivers as they navigate diagnosis, communication challenges, family changes, and self-care.

Caregivers are encouraged to attend any session that feels helpful to them, regardless of where they are in their caregiving journey. Sessions take place on the last Monday of every month (May will take place on the third Monday).

See below for the Monthly Schedule of Topics:

April 27th: From the Beginning: Adjusting to a New Cancer Diagnosis

May 18th:  Talking with their Healthcare Team

June 29th:  Changing roles: Living Arrangements, Money, Asking for and Receiving Help

July 13th:  What to do about Caregiver Anger

August 24th: Caregiver Burnout: How to Nurture and Re-energize
