The purpose of this activity is to provide updates in oncology treatment practices and management of toxicities relevant to palliative care, targeted and cellular therapies. The program is led by pharmacists and also focuses on medication safety and social determinants of health

Pharmacists who practice in the oncology setting.
Program information
5.0 contact hours (0.5 CEU), knowledge-based program (no partial credit available).
Attendees must be present for 70% or more of the activity. Additionally, completion of the post-activity assessment (embedded in the activity evaluation) is a requirement for obtaining continuing education credit, however, there is no minimum passing score. It is strongly encouraged that all attendees participate in the active learning components of the program as well as the question and answer session.

- Identify updates in NYS laws affecting the practice of pharmacy
- Describe the prognostic significant & treatment implications of KMT2Ar & NPM1m in AML
- Discuss key clinical pearls to develop monitoring plans to optimize menin inhibitor therapy
- Summarize the clinical literature of menin inhibitors both for FDA approved agents & agents in pipeline
- Describe the risk factors, modes of transmission, and infection cycles associated with the different hepatitis viruses
- Explain the interpretation of hepatitis B serologic panels and their role in determining infection status and informing prevention and treatment strategies.
- Discuss the therapeutic goals of hepatitis B treatment and the drug- and patient-specific factors that influence therapy selection and monitoring.
