Freedom of Information Law (FOIL)

In order to make a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, please send your request by mail to our Records Access Officer, who will coordinate your request within:

In the alternative, you may make an electronic FOIL request.

Records that you request pursuant to FOIL may be made available for inspection and copying from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Once you receive confirmation that your requested records are eligible to be produced for inspection, please report to the Hospital Main Lobby and you will be escorted to the building in which the Records are maintained.

You have the right to appeal in writing within thirty (30) days after you have been denied access to any records that you requested under FOIL (or if you have not received any response from the Records Access Officer within thirty (30) days of your request).  You may direct any written appeal to the Records Access Appeals Officer:

In the alternative, you may appeal the denial of your FOIL request online within thirty (30) days of receipt of the denial.
