Biography:

I am a native of Western New York and have more than 25 years of combined experience at Roswell Park in Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Research Services, Pathology. I started out as Medical Technologist hired to the Department of Pathology & Lab Medicine in Clinical Chemistry and Hematology. I have a dual background as a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist, who is IATA certified in the Shipment of Biologics. I was recruited to Clinical Research Services as a Clinical Research Laboratory Coordinator where the CRS Lab Team processes, in conjunction with the Lab Medicine Administration, were created and developed to support the management of bio-specimens for clinical trials on a 24hr basis. I was promoted to CRS Laboratory Manager, then subsequently to CRS Lab Administrator, Senior CRS Lab Administrator, and then Director, Clinical Research Laboratory Medicine Services. Most recently I was appointed as the Director, Clinical Research Laboratory Services (a subdivision of Pathology Network Shared Resource) and Department Diversity Administrator to support the critical initiative to drive and maintain a diverse workforce in the Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Professions. At Roswell Park, I continuously served on the Leadership team and as liaison between Clinical Research Services and the Department of Pathology & Lab Medicine.
