Symptoms of head and neck cancer depend largely on where the tumor is located. They include:

  • A lump or mass in the neck
  • Persistent sore throat (not caused by a cold)
  • A sore that in the mouth or nose or on the skin, that doesn’t heal
  • Trouble swallowing
  • Hoarseness
  • Trouble breathing
  • Pain in the ear
