About Me

Biography:

My name is Theresa Carbone and I’m a pediatric nurse practitioner at Roswell Park. I specialize in pediatric oncology and pediatric bone marrow transplant.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from Niagara University in Lewiston, NY and my Master’s degree in the Nursing and the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. I also completed coursework for the Family Nurse Practitioner program to be able to follow our long-term survivors of childhood cancer.

I am a volunteer for Camp Good Days and Special Times, which is a camp for our pediatric cancer patients. I’m also a Volunteer Ambassador for the “Be the Match” Program. In this role, I coordinate bone marrow donor drives to recruit donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant. Additionally, I have volunteered for Brian Moorman’s PUNT Foundation, which focuses on children with cancer in Western New York.
