About Stuthi Pavani Perimbeti

Biography:

After completing medical school in South India, I moved to Philadelphia to pursue a Master of Public health at Drexel University. I then obtained my internal medicine residency training at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital.

With an interest in solid tumor oncology, my research efforts are focused on applying principles of machine learning and artificial intelligence to prognosticate recalcitrant cancers and improve outcomes.

Apart from graduating with multiple honors as the best outgoing medical student and magna cum laude graduate of her class in medical school, I was also awarded the prestigious Drexel University Dean’s merit based scholarship. I received the "Above and Beyond" award during residency for exemplary patient care. In my time at Roswell Park, I have been awarded the Charlie and Gloria Carbone Young Investigator in Training award for research in thoracic oncology, Conquer Cancer Foundation’s Merit award at ASCO 2022 for work in GU oncology, and was inducted to the Gold Humanism Honor Society for exemplary patient care.

I aspire to be an academic oncologist.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our puppy, Kasper, and also volunteer at local pet rescue organizations.
