The Young Adult Cancer Network
Through the support of the Steadfast Foundation, Roswell Park Cancer Institute established The Young Adult Cancer Network to meet the needs of our patients who are between 15 and 39 years of age.
Each year, 72,000 young patients between 15 and 39 years of age are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. It is the number one cause of disease-related death in this age group. Roswell Park is committed to learn more about AYA cancers, and to optimize the experience our AYA patients have with their disease.
The Young Adult Cancer Network consists of a multidisciplinary team to help meet the unique needs of this patient population. The team works with the referring specialist or primary care provider and will provide patients access to appropriate medical and supportive services during their treatment and beyond.
