Nursing Training

Two (2) available educational training options:

A. Perspective in Oncology Nursing
This one (1) year certificate training program is administered by RPCI-OICO in collaboration with the Department of Nursing at Daemen College in Amherst, New York. The program consists of two (2) phases. Each phase offers didactic courses and clinical hands-on practice. Didactic courses are held at Daemen College while the clinical hands-on oncology practice is performed at RPCI. The qualified nurses should be registered and licensed to practice nursing in home country. This training program requires the trainee to obtain an F-1 student visa, which is processed by Daemen College.

B. Master of Science in Nursing Education
Oncology nurses, who successfully completed the Perspective in Oncology nursing certificate program, have the option to enroll in a degree-issuing training. In addition, this two (2) year training program is available to new oncology nurses as well. The qualified nurses should be registered and licensed to practice nursing in home country. Didactic courses are held at Daemen College. The clinical hands-on oncology practice is performed at RPCI. OICO supervises the training administratively and provides help with the daily operational needs of the program in collaboration with Daemen College. This degree training program requires the trainee to obtain an F-1 student visa, which is processed by Daemen College.
