Description of Duties:
The Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute is immediately seeking to recruit a faculty member at the Assistant or Associate level in Buffalo, NY. The candidate should be board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. The candidate must have a commitment to excellence in patient care, research and education. All faculty members are involved in clinical research, as well as teaching students, residents and fellows. Experience in robotic surgery is required. Opportunities exist for independent or collaborative research in clinical, basic or translational science. RPCI and the Department of Gynecologic Oncology have an outstanding track record of interdisciplinary clinical care coupled with highly-productive, department-based, clinical and basic research efforts. The Department is a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) and has a four-year ABOG-approved fellowship program with an NCI T32 grant. The Department was recently awarded a Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) grant in ovarian cancer by the NCI.
