BUFFALO, N.Y. — David Scott, Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, was honored with a Global Diversity Leadership Award by the World HRD Congress in Mumbai, India. The honor was bestowed during the 25th Silver Jubilee meeting of the organization, held February 15 to February 17, 2017.

Scott was honored for expanding career opportunities for people from underserved groups and for enhancing the culture of inclusion at Roswell Park. In granting the award, the World HRD Congress said of Scott: “As a thinker and a doer, you are a role model and a believer in change.”

Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Scott is dedicated to building an increasingly diverse workforce at Roswell Park, expanding employment and contracting opportunities for minorities and underserved groups through outreach programs, job fairs, job-training events and paid internship programs.
