07/2012-Present - RPCI -- Selenium as a potential radioprotective agent in head and neck cancer. Prospective study aimed to determine usefulness in mitigating of severe radiation related toxicity. Questioning relevance of baseline environmental selenium levels in the United States v. New Zealand.
2010 - Upstate -- Review of locally advanced head and neck cancers, treated with concurrent chemoradation. Focus on toxicity data relating to low-dose weekly cisplatin v. high dose three weekly cisplatin.
2008 - Upstate -- (Dept. of Surgery). Porcine model of sepsis/ARDS. Study addressing importance of transpulmonary pressure in IAH (intra-abdominal HTN). Questioning its use to dictate vent settings as opposed to plateau pressure. (PI – Gary Nieman)
