BUFFALO, NY Lee C. Wortham has been named the chair of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. The Foundation is the not-for-profit organization that receives and administers funds supporting scientific and clinical research, state-of-the-art medical care, and patient-related activities at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Wortham is a partner at Barrantys LLC, a multi-family office based in Buffalo, NY. Previously, Mr. Wortham was Executive Vice President and Management Committee Member of First Niagara Financial Group, where he led all wealth management activities, including portfolio management, trust and estate services and brokerage.
He previously served as Executive Vice President of Global Private Client Services for The Bank of New York and held domestic and international leadership positions with Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.). In addition to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation Board, Mr. Wortham is a member of the Canisius College Board of Regents.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute, founded in 1898, is the nation’s first cancer research, treatment and education center.
