Campaign raised funds through sale of Coke 2-liters at area Tops stores
BUFFALO, NY--Representatives from Tops Markets and Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Buffalo today visited Roswell Park Cancer Institute to present a check for $17,500 in support of patient care programs at Roswell Park.
The partnership between Tops and Coca-Cola raised funds through the sale of 2-liter bottles of Coca-Cola products at area Tops locations during late 2010 and early 2011.
Both Coca-Cola of Buffalo and Tops Markets are long-time supporters of Roswell Park. In addition to hosting the annual Tops 5K/10K with Team Cure Challenge, Tops also steps up to donate food and beverage items to events including the Bosom Buddies Walk and All Star Night. Coca-Cola also provides generous in-kind donations of products for Roswell Park events, including The Ride For Roswell and Cancer Survivors Day.
