Seeking Interviewers for Public Health Program at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Students, seniors and others seeking part-time work should consider a position as a survey interviewer about public health issues at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park). The Roswell Park Department of Health Behavior is seeking 30 employees to conduct telephone interviews that will survey public opinions about trends in tobacco use, knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. The right candidates will play a role in answering scientific questions about tobacco, cancer and other health-care issues.

The job openings are for positions with the Survey Research and Data Acquisition Resource (SRDAR), a core resource at the Buffalo comprehensive cancer center.

Applicants must have a high-school education, excellent computer skills, a clear speaking voice, strong reading skills and a stable employment history. The part-time positions offer flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. SRDAR research professionals are committed to helping scientists complete their research by overcoming cost and logistic obstacles to research.
