Roswell Park Hosts Reception Welcoming Buffalo State President

The Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Board of Directors held a reception to welcome to the community the new President of Buffalo State College, Dr. Aaron Podolefsky, August 18. The reception held at Roswell Park was hosted by Institute President Donald L. Trump, MD, and attendees included Candace Johnson, PhD, the Institute Deputy Director, many Roswell Park and Buffalo State College faculty members and administrators and a number of community leaders who greeted and congratulated Dr. Podolefsky and his wife, Ronnie. Dr. Podelefsky took office as president of the State University of New York institution July 1.

“Dr. Podolefsky is such a highly regarded scholar and administrator, and we’re really excited to have him at the helm of the College,” says Dr. Trump. “Buffalo State is a real asset to public education in New York, and we were excited to hear Dr. Podolefsky outline his vision for the College to enhance both academic and economic development in Western New York.”
