Pediatric Cancer Patients Kick Off the Holidays With All-New Card Collection

2010 Season of The Paint Box Project Celebrated at Shea’s Performing Arts Center

Buffalo, NY - More than 50 pediatric cancer patients, survivors and their families—along with program sponsors and guests—today unveiled unveil the 2010 holiday collection of The Paint Box Project. Each card and gift in the collection features artwork created or inspired by the young patient-artists of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

This year’s collection features 14 new card designs and a wide array of fresh gift ideas. Proceeds support research and patient care programs at Roswell Park.

The kick-off event, hosted at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, also offered attendees the chance to meet with patient-artists and have their holiday cards signed in an “autograph session.” Guests enjoyed wine and chocolate tastings courtesy of Choco-Logo, Buffalo’s own chocolate factory. The Paint Box Project’s holiday collection features chocolate gifts created by Choco-Logo, as well as other gift options for the home, office or holiday party.

The Paint Box Project is made possible by support from Upstate Pharmacy, LTD.; Classifieds Plus, Inc.; TOPS Markets and Wegmans.
