Limited Edition Mug of Hope is Back to Benefit Cancer Research at Roswell Park

Partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts offers coffee lovers another chance at unlimited refills.

BUFFALO, NY — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and Dunkin’ Donuts have teamed up again to bring the Mug of Hope to Western New York. Purchase of the mug for $150 entitles the owner to unlimited coffee or tea refills at area Dunkin’ Donuts franchises from January 1 to December 31, 2011 — an estimated $500 value if used daily. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the mug sales will benefit cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park.

“The Mug of Hope is an integral part of Dunkin’ Donuts’ commitment to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and to the Buffalo Niagara community it serves,” said Dunkin’s Field Marketing Manager, Eric Stensland.

The limited edition mug is on sale now through The Paint Box Project at www.paintboxproject.com or by calling 1-800-959-5931. The keepsake acrylic travel mug has a brand-new design that showcases artwork from several young artists from The Paint Box Project. Last year’s Mug of Hope campaign raised $100,000 for Roswell Park.

“We are happy to partner again with Dunkin’ Donuts on the Mug of Hope,” said Donald L. Trump, MD, President and CEO of Roswell Park. “Last year, the community enthusiastically embraced the program, and we encourage Western New Yorkers to demonstrate their dedication to Roswell Park’s patients once more by supporting the 2011 Mug of Hope campaign.”

The Paint Box Project is a program that uses the healing power of art to provide support to pediatric cancer patients and their families at Roswell Park. In addition to the Mug of Hope, www.PaintBoxProject.com offers a variety of card and gift options for the holidays, each featuring artwork created or inspired by Paint Box Project artists.

About The Paint Box Project
The Paint Box Project, presented by Upstate Pharmacy, is a unique program that uses the healing power of art to help young cancer patients and their families express themselves during and after cancer treatment. Proceeds from the sale of cards and gifts inspired by the children’s artwork support the most promising cancer research and compassionate patient care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. This year we recognize 20 years of inspiration born, friendships forged and messages of hope conveyed since the Roswell Park Alliance Community Advisory Board began the program.
