Dance to Bring Middle Schoolers Together to Support Carly’s Club

WNY students in grades five through eight invited to "How Big is Your Heart Dance"

(BUFFALO, NY) -- Young people in grades five through eight are invited to the first annual "How Big is Your Heart" Dance to benefit Carly’s Club at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The dance will be held Friday, February 11, 2011, from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Buffalo. Proceeds from the evening will support pediatric cancer research and patient support programs at Roswell Park. Tickets are $30 and available for purchase exclusively at www.CarlysClub.org. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The "How Big is Your Heart" Dance will feature dancing, age-appropriate games and activities, raffles, contests and more. DJ Anthony of KISS 98.5 will be the evening’s special guest.

Attire for the dance is casual, and Valentine’s Day colors are encouraged. At the time of ticket purchase, attendees can purchase “Heart Punch Cards,” which will allow them to participate in activities throughout the night without carrying cash. About Carly’s Club at Roswell Park: Carly's Club for Kids & Cancer Research at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center offers support programs to make life more manageable for children diagnosed with cancer and their families, and raises funds for pediatric cancer research seeking cures.
