AUA Chair Elspeth McDougall Visits Roswell Park

Elspeth McDougall, MD, Chair of the American Urological Association (AUA) Office of Education and Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Education Center at the University of California’s Irvine Medical Center, visited Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in July 2010. Dr. McDougall gave two presentations on minimally invasive surgery techniques and took a test drive on the first-ever Robotic Surgical Simulator, or RoSS, a technology developed by researchers from Roswell Park and the University at Buffalo. Dr. McDougall also spent time discussing the future of robotic surgery training with Roswell Park surgeons who are international leaders in the field.
