BUFFALO, NY - Since 1990, the holiday season has been an opportunity to support Roswell Park Cancer Institute by sending cards and gifts from The Paint Box Project. This year, shoppers have an expanded, colorful new collection to choose from—exclusively available online at www.PaintBoxProject.com.
A brand new partnership with Buffalo-based company MOD-PAC has brought the line-up of cards and accessories known as the Cancer Cures Collection to online shoppers. As always, each item features original artwork created by pediatric patients and their families at Roswell Park.
Beyond the holidays, the collection also offers cards and gifts for weddings, showers and other events like Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can also choose customizable merchandise including glasses, mugs, candles and tote bags. Each of these gifts—great for stocking stuffers—can be imprinted with unique Paint Box Project artwork.
“Thanks to MOD-PAC and its nationally-known websites, PartyBasics.com and MyWeddingBasics.com, we were able to use technology to decrease the costs of our program while reaching an even wider audience of potential shoppers,” said Cindy Eller, Executive Director of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, which runs The Paint Box Project. “In addition, we have partnered with the Arts in Healthcare Initiative—a collaboration between the University at Buffalo and Roswell Park—to bring professional artists to work with the children and their families this year.”
“The Paint Box Project is our chance to give back,” said Jenny Crandall, whose son Justin is celebrating seven years of remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. “Through the program, we met other families who were facing the same thing, and we were able to support each other. My kids know that The Paint Box Project is their chance to give back to Roswell Park.”
A wide variety of cards and products are available for all the celebrations in your life. Shop today and easily customize your 2011 holiday card for your family or business by visiting www.PaintBoxProject.com. The Paint Box Project is presented by Upstate Pharmacy, LTD.
