Today, 101 cyclists crossed the Niagara Falls finish line to complete the Empire State Ride (ESR), a seven-day, 546-mile adventure across New York State to end cancer. To participate, individuals from as far as California and the Virgin Islands raised more than $500,000 to support cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

NHL.com released a story yesterday highlighting a mannequin challenge video taken while the Buffalo Sabres team was visiting with patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The Sabres team split into groups to take two separate videos which were shared on Roswell Park’s Facebook page, asking followers “who did it better?”

The “Roswell Strong” necklace features a four-sided bar pendant inscribed with meaningful messages to inspire and empower: Cancer Warrior, Determined, Brave and Blessed.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute has released The Paint Box Project’s 2016 Holiday Line, featuring 13 new designs for customizable holiday cards, gifts, packaging and tableware. As always, pediatric cancer patients and their families design all of the artwork for the items.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute ushered in a new chapter today with the opening of the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center on its main campus. The 11-story, 142,000-square-foot facility adjacent to and accessible from the Roswell Park main hospital will be dedicated to targeted clinical programs and support services.
