The Gynecologic Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) provides comprehensive care to women with gynecologic malignancies. RPCI is a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group and a participant in most of the national trials to improve the prevention, detection, and treatment of gynecologic cancers. The Institution has an academic affiliation with The State University of New York at Buffalo.
Residency Program Rotation
Residents currently rotate through the Department of Gynecology Oncology for two months during their PGY-3. Beginning October 2015, residents will also have the opportunity to rotate for one month during their PGY-2. While at RPCI, residents participate in outpatient clinic, operating room, didactic lectures and case conferences.
We offer a Gynecologic Oncology rotation to the University at Buffalo Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and to the Sisters of Charity Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
Residents from the University of Buffalo rotate with us for one to two months during PGY-2 and PGY-3, and our faculty is involved in didactic teaching for the residents.
Residents from Sisters of Charity Hospital rotate with us for two months during PGY-3.
