Feasibility of an Exercise Intervention to Enhance Fitness and QOL Among Adult Survivors of Childhood Cancer

The focus of this research project is to provide an exercise intervention to survivors of childhood and adolescent cancers, a critical component of preventative health care in this growing cohort. Encouraging greater levels of fitness through a focused exercise intervention targeting adultsurvivors of childhood malignancies is likely to yield improvements in quality of life (QOL), self-efficacy and anthropometrics. This topic has not been well-studied and further research will help to potentially improve overall health status in this ever increasing survivor population, to understand the willingness to participation in an exercise intervention, and serve to utilize data from our unique and long-standing childhood cancer survivorship program.
