The Senior Research Associate performs a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests and experimental procedures specific to the area of research associated with the work in the assigned program/laboratory. The Senior Research Associate provides administrative/managerial oversight of the lab operations under the direction of the Principal Investigator. They also assist to identify, design and/or execute research experiments to meet the research objectives of the program.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time professional research experience in a laboratory, clinical or scientific research environment or a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of five years of full-time professional research experience in a laboratory, clinical or scientific research environment. The preferred candidate will have previous experience with Roswell Park research lab policies and procedures.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
