Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division is seeking a full-time Research Technologist. The Research Technologist supports clinical and scientific research; assists with or conducts experiments and procedures under the direction of a supervisor; presents findings including preliminary interpretation for further review; inputs clinical and research information into the designated database system; conducts routine maintenance of equipment and machinery as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation of immunomodulatory and anticancer agents and their combinations in cell cultures and ex vivo tumor explant cultures. The candidate will also support ongoing and new research projects and (depending on the experience and skills) may participate in the production of clinical grade cellular products for our clinical trials).
The applicant must have a Master’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline; or a Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline and the equivalent of one year of full-time experience in a laboratory setting. The preferred candidate will have previous experience with lo cultures of human primary cells, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, RT-PCR and previous experience with data analysis and preparation of scientific reports.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
