The Laboratory Technician will analyze sequencing data (RNASeq, WES, single cell RNASeq, TCRSeq, ChIPSeq, ATACSeq, CyTOF, IMC), prepare a "biologist-friendly" report, help integrating the results in the context of the project they originate from, develop novel analytic pipelines, collaborate with other labs to help with integrating -omics data analysis and exploratory data analysis in their projects.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or an Associate’s degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time laboratory experience. The preferred candidate will possess the skills of attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and effective communication. The preferred candidate will also possess a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, or related field; be fluent with UNIX and R; have knowledge of Python/Perl/Java and have practical knowledge of machine learning and experience in Immunogenomics.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
