Description of Duties:
The Laboratory Technician will perform technical laboratory work including sterile cell and tissue culture, mouse experiments, molecular biology experiments, lab maintenance, generation of reports in a scientific research laboratory.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or an Associate’s degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time laboratory experience. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science. The preferred candidate will possess the skills of attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and effective communication. The preferred candidate will also have training in basic cell culture and at least one year experience in sterile tissue culture work.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
