Description of Duties:
The Laboratory Technician will perform technical laboratory work including sterile cell and tissue culture, mouse experiments, molecular biology experiments, lab maintenance, generation of reports in a scientific research laboratory.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or an Associate’s degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time laboratory experience. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science. The preferred candidate will possess the skills of attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and effective communication.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
