Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division is seeking a full-time HRI Scientist. We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented candidate for a scientist position in the Department of Immunology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The laboratory is broadly interested in cancer-immune cell crosstalk, immunosuppressive immune cells, cytokine biology, cancer metabolism and cancer therapeutics. Successful candidate will pursue an ongoing project to understand type 2 immune response in pancreatic and colorectal cancer. We utilize genetically engineered mouse model (GEMM), human and mouse organoid model, functional metabolomics, multiplexed cytokine arrays to study the pancreatic cancer microenvironment. Candidates will have the opportunity to train in cutting edge technology that involves multiplex flow cytometry, immune assays, functional metabolomics and cancer therapeutics.
The applicant must have a M.D. or PhD in an appropriate field; or a Master’s degree in an appropriate field. We are seeking a highly motivated individual preferably with a Ph.D. and a strong training background in immunology, cancer biology, molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry or genetics. Candidates with experience in mouse handling are highly encouraged to apply.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
