Clinical Research Associate I
Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Associate I. The Clinical Research Associate I supports the clinical research mission of the organization and Clinical Research Services (CRS) through one of the following areas: the maintenance of research regulatory documents and the submission of new studies, amendments, continuing reviews and all other study documents; data collection and entry; or data management and study compliance. The Clinical Research Associate I also adheres to the Code of Federal Regulations (Title 21) and guidelines set up by the International Committee for Harmonization for good clinical practices.
The applicant must have an Associate’s degree in a health or science related field. The preferred candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications, will have an extensive understanding and practical knowledge of statistical methodologies and expertise in the study of design and data analysis, and will have excellent organization skills. They will also have a strong medical/clinical background and must be well versed in anatomy and physiology, will have strong statistical and analytical skills, and will possess basic database knowledge. They will have experience and the ability to make independent decisions based on Clinical Research Services Standard Operating Procedures and clinical research practices, will be detailed oriented, self-directed, and will have the ability to perform duties and problem solve with minimal supervision. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, will be proficient in prioritization, multi-tasking, and organization, and will have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team while placing high value on quality assurance.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
